The Beauty of Birth ( My Daughter)

My unforgettable dream and joy came with the birth of my baby girl. The new parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles were all filled with joy and excitement at the thought of welcoming the new baby into the world.  The first little smile, the first tears shed, and the first baby’s smile captured our hearts. Childbirth is not without its challenges, but it is surely one of life’s most rewarding events. My pregnancy was very challenging. Weekly visits to the doctor. My husband was allowed in the delivery room to watch and coach me during the birthing process. A beautiful delivery. We laughed and talked throughout the process. The epidural was not funny!, but made the delivery easy and very little pain.

  1. Hello Birdie,

This post on your birthing experience is very beautiful and telling. I also like the poem you’ve posted about your daughter. Family can be the best circles of love, support and positive emotion.

    • Elizabeth,
First, I must tell you I love your name. I wanted to give both my daughter and granddaughter the name “Elizabeth” so eloquent. My daughter was determined to come into this world early. “Tansy” means very “persistent” therefore I concluded “Tansy” it shall be. lol My daughter decided her little girl must have the name, Chloe Olivia, which I love, and again concluded so shall it be. lol Thanks for your touching comments. My daughter is my “rock.”
